New Integration

Symplast + ImageAssist: Clinical photography that lands in the chart on its own.

ImageAssist capture on iPhone and iPad, editing on desktop, and the finished photos synced into the Symplast patient chart

Clinical photography is the most persuasive asset an aesthetic practice owns. It is also the least consistent. Different staff, different angles, different lighting, then someone exports, renames, and uploads every image to the chart by hand.

Now Symplast integrates with ImageAssist to eliminate the extra work.

What the integration does

ImageAssist handles the capture. Symplast houses the photos. Connected, the two work as one system:

  1. Your Symplast schedule and patients populate ImageAssist automatically. No duplicate entry.
  2. Every photo follows ASPS SmartGuides, with automatic background removal. Any staff member gets the same standardized result.
  3. Annotate regions of interest and build before/afters in-app, for planning, documentation, and patient education.
  4. Finished photos land in the Symplast patient chart. No manual upload.

Why it matters

Performance data from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center pilot and aesthetic practice deployments demonstrates a consult-to-procedure conversion rate of around 90 percent, a 53 percent faster clinical photo workflow, and zero dollars in new capital equipment.

ImageAssist runs on iPhone, iPad, Web, or DSLR. The hardware you already own becomes a standardized, HIPAA-compliant photo room that travels with you.

Getting started

ImageAssist offers Symplast practices a 7-day free trial. Claim your 10-minute strategy session and ImageAssist handles account setup, subscription, and activating the Symplast connection on the backend. Most practices are fully operational within 24 hours.

The full integration walkthrough, results, and trial details are on the ImageAssist page.
